Dr Babatyi Malope-Kgokong: Chairperson Organising Committee

Welcome to PathReD 2019 Congress! This is an exciting moment for the organizing committee and the NHLS to provide an opportunity for our researchers, staff, collaborators and stakeholders to come together and understand what the NHLS is up to.

PathReD 2019 is designed to be the perfect platform for the NHLS community to share expertise, collaborate, network, and understand the existing opportunities within our organization. It has proven to be a tremendous opportunity for NHLS researchers, especially young emerging researchers, medical scientists and technologists, registrars, and pathologists to come together and experience the diverse culture of research excellence that is growing within the NHLS.

We are excited about the support that is offered by NHLS scholars across the 10 medical universities and are hoping to attract the Universities of Technologies to participate in this exceptional event. We are looking forward to the collaboration and support from our sponsors and informative exhibitions by industry leaders.

PathReD 2019 is designed for you to learn, interact, network and understand the existing opportunities within our institution. We invite delegates to engage with us on our social media platforms and share their ideas of topics that they would like to be included in the PathReD 2019 program. We will be launching our mentorship program, AARMS system, and other exciting programmes that will be taking place within the NHLS.

The NHLS is proud of the standard that has been set by previous PathReD initiatives and PathReD 2019 will continue this trend. The PathReD 2019 Organizing Scientific Committee promises an exciting scientific program which will be led by renowned NHLS scholars. Please browse through the list of Scientific Advisory Committee members and our distinguished PathReD Scientific Committee members. This is also an opportunity to obtain CPD points offered to all PathReD delegates, and additional points for speakers, presenters, workshop facilitators and reviewers.

On behalf of the PathReD 2019 Organizing Committee, I wish you an enriching and inspiring PathReD 2019 experience.
